My favorite art piece of 2009 is the MANDALA. I thought that it was interesting how the are created and it’s very fun to draw. When i drew my mandala I had no idea what I wanted to draw so I started off with drawing waves and then I kept on going. When I coloured it in I was very proud of my self and everyone was compimenting my creation. My mandala was chosen for Morphett assembly (u.p Building) and I really enjoyed it because i have turned a blank circle into this weird swivels and waves and it was a really amazing mandala.

I believe that Ive tried my hardest this year in 2009. Getting Along – I think that Ive got along with most students in L.A 21 I have made new friends and most of them will be attending Underdale High next year which is really good. Organisation- organised is one of the most important keys that everyone needs usually I’m organised but sometimes when I’ve got a lot of things on my mind like presentation notes diary I start to get confused and muddled up and my books and school work gets mixed up and I just think What Am I Doing that’s why I’ve got a school diary.Resilience- I’m sort of resilient I don’t always bounce back when I’m supposed to but usually when I think I cant do thigs and Ive done some school work wrong I do bounce back and take little steps till I’m finished. Confidence- OK well confidence is something I really need well I’m sort of confident when talking to friends and new kids but when my teacher announces that we have to do an oral presentation for our classes inquiry unit that’s when I’m really not confident. I think that I can prevent getting nervous by taking deep breaths before I get called up to do my presentation. Persistence- I think I’m persistent well I set out goals and try to achieve them but that’s it mainly.

Hiya everyone, well on the 16/11/09 classes 20, 21, 22 and 23 had the greatest tunnel ball game ever. The versing teams were L.A 20 & L.A 23 VS L.A21 & L.A 22 the first teams were lined up in a big row and the other team were lined up next to them.When the whistle got blown both teams went THROUGH, ROLL, GRAB, RUN AND SHUFFLE BACK which is the ball going through then rolling,  the last person grabs it and runs to the front then everyone shuffles back and it keeps on going. I was a little nervous to think of being the last person and then running cause I thought I’d drop the ball and make a fool of myself but luckely I didn’t. The game went for a long time and finally the 1 of the teams won everyone was in disbelieve and thinking the other team was gonna win. and the winner was ……………………………………………………………………………………………….. L.A 21 & L.A 22 yeah.

Hello everyone well on the 3/11/09 I presented my Evian presentation. We had to find an advert that has influenced you then we can make a power point and present it. In the PowerPoint we had to add how its memorable to you how did it influence you what are the consequencesand What strategies have the media used to produce the advert. I thought I have done well I chose a funny and appropriate advert and I thought this inquiry was a easy to work with.

The book that I’m reading is called Avalon High. Avalon high is about a girl called Elaine she moved houses and schools. On her first day instead of being shy and eating her lunch by herself she went up to a group of girls they were all tall and dark haired.

As Elaine starts settling into Avalon high the popular guy A. William Wagner started to talk to her. They became friends and they hung out together a lot. When Will says that he thinks he knows Ellie before they’ve ever met. Things started to get a little weird. Ellie discovers dark secrets about Will, his friends and Ellie…………………….

Hello, well today I went to choir my friend YABBY and I had to practice our solo for this week on the friday for upper primary assembly Im a little bit nervous about the whole singing in front of all your friends and teachers thing but i thing im gaining confidence every time i sing my solo in front of the choir members.

On Friday 28th of august  we Our School Book Week. Book week is a time when we all dress up in our favourite book character. But there is a theme that most people dress up into this years theme was book safari it was a good theme well for me because straight away i knew what i wanted to be a ….. LEOPARD I was dressed as a leopard with my 3 best friends Suha Anna709 and Anac. There were also a lot of other costumes like there was a Witch a Super hero ect. It was a good thing we didnt have to wear hats because i had cute little leopard ears on. There was also a book safari performance. There was a guy and a girl they were acting from people from these books in the end we had to do the clap O meter it was when the girl puts up one of the books and we had to clap and the book with the most claps wins this year CAPTAING COGO AND THE CROCODILE KING was the winner YEAH.

 Impressionistic art uses colour, line and shape to express the artistic thoughts, feeling and ideas.

The art I created is called peace I created it by using the chinese sybal peace I chose the peace chinese sybal because in ouir class room we have these chinese posters with these sybals on it and I chose peace because it was the easiest symbal to draw. Anyway with the symbal in the middle I drew these five waves 3 on the bottom going side ways and two on the top going side ways Then with the extra room on the page I put circles . I used the colours Dark blue, Light blue and black  I painted the symbal black and the inside and out side of the circles and waves then I painted the rest of the waves and circles dark blue then the backround light blue.

I love doing art and I had a great time

Hai well for about 2 – 3 days anna709,  azza and I were all working on a painting for Quiz night the painting is really good theres light blue for the backround and two difforent colour browns for the waves then we outlined it in white. I really Really hope it sells well in the action.

Heyy, Today we had a guy called Kiren come to our school and talk about The 40 Hour Famine. Kiren showed us two little films one was about Beatrice she is one of 26 billion people who havnt got enough food to survive on. When he showed us the film about Beatrice I felt terrible for her thats why our school is willing to help and do the 40 hour Famine to help those people like Beatrice.
